BASECLEAN GUIDES

Everything you can do, in one place.

Clear, practical guides for every BaseClean feature. Your wallet remains in control for every onchain action.

01 / CONNECT

Connect your wallet

Choose a Base-compatible wallet you already use: Base Account, MetaMask, Phantom, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, Binance Wallet, Exodus or SafePal.

  1. Select Connect wallet in the navigation.
  2. Choose your wallet from the picker.
  3. Approve only the normal connection request and switch to Base if asked.
SecurityBaseClean never asks for your seed phrase, private key or wallet password.
02 / WALLET SCAN

Review assets in your wallet

BaseClean reads public ETH and ERC-20 balances from Base, then presents core assets and unknown tokens together.

  1. Wait for the first balance scan to complete.
  2. Review values, balances and available actions in the asset list.
  3. Use refresh after receiving new assets.
03 / MARKET DATA

Check charts and liquidity

Open a token chart to inspect available price history, liquidity and timeframes from 5M to 1W.

  1. Select Chart beside an asset.
  2. Choose a timeframe and use zoom if needed.
  3. Check liquidity and market status before trading.
No chart?A token may not have a reliable liquid market or enough indexed history.
04 / SWAP

Swap with a live route

Routes are requested only after you choose assets and enter an amount, or paste a supported ERC-20 contract address.

  1. Open Swap from an asset.
  2. Choose the token to pay with and the token to receive.
  3. Review the quote, price impact and slippage, then confirm in your wallet.
CostsBaseClean has a 0% app fee. Base gas and liquidity-provider costs still apply.
05 / AUTO REVIEW

Review suspicious token signals

Auto Review helps surface public risk signals including missing liquidity, spam-like metadata, unavailable markets and transfer concerns.

  1. Select Auto Review above the asset list.
  2. Read the reason each token was flagged.
  3. Choose what to inspect further; nothing is automatic.
ImportantRisk signals are informational and never guarantee that a token is safe or unsafe.
06 / APPROVALS

Review and revoke approvals

Approvals can let a third-party spender move a token. Revoking removes that permission only.

  1. Select Approvals or a token’s Revoke action.
  2. Inspect the token, spender and allowance.
  3. Select one or more approvals and confirm each revoke transaction in your wallet.
Wallet confirmationsEach approval belongs to a separate token contract, so your wallet confirms each revoke separately.
07 / BURN

Burn unwanted tokens

Eligible ERC-20 tokens can be sent permanently to the Base dead address.

  1. Select Burn beside an eligible token.
  2. Check the amount and irreversible destination.
  3. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
Permanent actionBurned tokens cannot be recovered. BaseClean does not pay any reward for burning.
08 / HISTORY

Track confirmed activity

History records submitted swaps, approval revokes and burns in your browser and gives you a direct BaseScan link.

  1. Open History in the asset workspace.
  2. Select a transaction to view it on BaseScan.
  3. Refresh balances after confirmation to see the latest wallet state.
09 / SUPPORT

Get help from Support Center

Use the in-app Support Center for focused answers about scanning, swaps, burns, approvals, charts and Auto Review.

  1. Open the Support button in the lower-right corner.
  2. Choose a relevant topic and read its guide.
  3. If it is not resolved, select My issue is not listed and send a support request.
